About Us

Who I Am
I’m Christy Crowe Childers, a trial lawyer and the author of Damages House. For more than 20 years, I’ve been representing clients in personal injury cases across the country. Along the way, I discovered that one of the greatest challenges lawyers face is putting into words something that feels impossible to explain: the real cost of pain and suffering.
Why I Wrote Damages House
Through years of practice, I developed a new method for concretizing the abstract concept of pain and suffering — a framework that has not only helped juries understand but has also empowered lawyers to confidently ask for money on behalf of their clients. This approach has led to powerful verdicts nationwide and has given attorneys a new level of clarity in their work.
My Mission
Damages House is more than just a book — it’s a resource for lawyers who want to change the way they advocate for their clients. My goal is to make this method accessible to every lawyer who feels stuck when it comes to damages, so they can unlock bigger wins for the people they serve.
Beyond the Book
In addition to writing, I also teach. Through workshops, consulting, and co-counseling, I help lawyers apply the Damages House framework to real cases. Whether in the courtroom or the classroom, I’m passionate about helping lawyers find freedom in asking for what justice truly demands.
